Brian has been President of Blue Wave Pool Service & Supplies, Inc. since 1985. His decision to enter the aquatics industry was set after reading the Certified Pool/Spa Operator handbook on a flight to Florida. He has successfully grown the business into a respected service company for inground pools in the State of Connecticut.

He has successfully grown the business into a respected service company for inground pools in the State of Connecticut.
Besides getting his hands wet in the field, Brian has twice served as the President of the Connecticut Chapter (CONSPA) of the APSP (Association of Pool and Spa Professionals), and for several years served as Education Chairman. He has instructed courses for both APSP and NSPF (National Swimming Pool Foundation) as well as helped the State of Connecticut as a subject matter expert and as a speaker at health department classes.

Justin started working at Blue Wave in 2010 as a once a week office helper. In 2013 he was hired as the full time office manager. Quickly, he achieved his State of Connecticut Swimming Pool Service License and immersed himself in taking as many educational courses as he could.

Justin started working at Blue Wave in 2010 as a once a week office helper. In 2013 he was hired as the full time office manager. Quickly, he achieved his State of Connecticut Swimming Pool Service License and immersed himself in taking as many educational courses as he could.
In 2019, he was awarded the Young Professional of the Year from the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) and achieved his PHTA Instructor Certification.
Together
Together, Brian and Justin have worked on a few projects for the aquatic industry.
In 2017, they created the 'Rookie to All Star' course currently offered through the Northeast Spa and Pool Association (NESPA).
Also in 2017, they helped form the one-day classroom session for the AST (Advanced Service Technician) Certification Course offered through the PHTA.
In 2015, and again in 2018, they worked with the City of Bridgeport to offer free CPO Certification Courses for commercial pool operators and health department officials. Over the three years, 15 certification courses were held to better the knowledge of professionals in the field.
