Certified Pool/Spa Operator Course
THE COURSE
The Certified Pool/Spa Operator® certification program has delivered more training than any other program in the pool and spa industry since 1972, resulting in more than 282,000 successful CPO® certifications in 64 countries. (according to nspf.org) The CPO® Training Course teaches an abundance of information to train staff members or individuals required to work with pools. It covers topics such as pool and spa chemistry and calculations, state and federal regulations, energy conservation, water sanitizing and testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and much more. Upon successful completion, participants will have a better understanding of an operator's role in pool management and care. The course takes two consecutive days to complete with an open book, open note test at the end.

ONLINE/1-DAY OPTION - FUSION
Step one to the CPO Fusion Course is the Pool Operator Primer. This online curriculum follows the 18 chapters in the PHTA Pool & Spa Operator Handbook. Students have access to the Pool Operator Primer online course for six months, which gives them the opportunity to review the material many times. Successful completion of the Pool Operator Primer earns a Record of Completion, which then brings us to step two. The Pool Operator Fusion is a one day class experience taken within six months of obtaining a Record of Completion from the Pool Operator Primer. A Fusion student can join us for the second day only of any of our scheduled courses.
